Today we launched a shoe box appeal

Published: 12th Oct, 2018

Today we launched a shoe box appeal to send a little boy or girl in a very poor part of the world a special Christmas present.    This is a joint charity appeal as we are working together with our shared education partner school, Lisnagelvin PS.  Children in Years 5 to 7 are asked to bring in one item for the shoe box appeal.  The children will each know the item they have to bring in. Suitable items are:  Small toys- soft toy, toy car, small doll or a skipping rope. Hygiene- bar of soap, tooth brush, tooth paste, comb Other items- wrapped sweets, hat, scarf, gloves or a torch. Items for school- notebook, pens, pencils, crayons, markers or colouring books.  Please do not bring in liquids- bubble bath or shampoo etc, chocolate, used items, clothes, food or fragile items. It is hoped that all Years 5-7 classes will fill two boxes, one for a boy and another for a girl. We would like to thank you for your continued support and generosity.
