Year 6 B practised their scientific skills of designing a fair test and predicting which liquid would be most effective at dissolving chalk. Each beaker was filled to the same point with water, sunflower oil, orange juice, malt vinegar and distilled malt vinegar. The same size of chalk was added to each cup and then predictions were made about which would dissolve first. Can you guess which liquid was the first to react with and dissolve the chalk?
