Year 6 pupils had the most amazing day at Belfast City Museum, compliments of University of Ulster Magee as part of our ASPIRE Award. Huge thank you to Doctor Helen Shields (UU) for accompanying us today. Special thanks also to our LSAs - Miss Mullan, Mrs Luffman and Brooke’s lovely mammy. We experienced Northern Ireland's treasure house of the past and the present, a rich collection of art, history and natural sciences. The museum told us the story of the people of the north of Ireland from earliest times to the present day. We particularly enjoyed the impressive galleries and interactive discovery zones which brought history, science and art collections to life. But, getting face to face with dinosaurs and up close with an Egyptian mummy most definitely was the highlight of our day.
