St. John's football team performed very well in the 5 a side tournament at the Bay Road Soccer Centre this week, only losing out to a strong St. Patrick's team in the final. Sixteen teams took part in the tournament and St. John's played some excellent passing football to overcome Oakgrove, St. Anne's and Steelstown en route to the final. Ciaran, Lennon, Noah, Caoimhin, Caden, Shane and Shea can be pleased with their overall performance despite the disappointment of losing the final.
