St John's football team won the Plate in the Martin Gallagher Tournament at Leafair. In the semi final St. John's beat St. Patrick's 4-1 before beating Hollybush 2-1 in the final. The boys played some excellent football on a bitterly cold day at Leafair. The team received their prizes from Martin Gallagher Sr and Michaela McGilloway from Leafair Community Association.
