On Friday, Saint John’s boys took part in the Tower Cup finals at Celtic Park. Two teams qualified for the event and both performed magnificently throughout the day. Our ‘bands’ team were narrowly defeated in the Tower Cup final by an excellent Sacred Heart team and our ‘stripes’ team also lost an enthralling battle in the bowl final. This was a wonderful effort from both teams and the boys did themselves and their school proud. Well done lads!
