Over the past number of weeks Year 6B have become apprentice scientists and engineers by designing tinfoil boats and testing them for buoyancy, designing a fair test to investigate predictions on which substance will melt a mini iceberg first and testing a variety of gloves to find out which material offers the best insulation against ice.
