Shared Education: Delegation from Jerusalem on Wednesday 11th May 2022.
We were delighted to host a delegation of 37 educationists from Jewish and Arab schools in Jerusalem, including Dr Gavin Duffy and Professor Tony Gallagher Queen’s University Belfast.
Mrs E Bradley’s Year 2 class shared a lovely assembly with the delegates. Our School Councillors Jayden, Faye, Nicole, Paige and Mia then answered questions on the important role of education and ‘pupil voice’ in effecting organisational change.
Nelson Mandela’s words, that “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world” were clearly in action during the visit.
