Today, 3B used all their previous knowledge about adding and subtracting using the column method to solve real life problems. They firstly discussed why it is important to learn Maths skills in school. They shared that it isimportant for having a job when they're older, working out amounts of money when shopping, and solving problems with numbers. In teams, they read the problems, highlighted key numbers and words, then calculated the answer using the column method. Great collaboration, communication and problem solving skills!
