Mr Tunney, Alan, Mrs Darmody and the Y6 ECO Committee have been very busy getting our outdoor spaces ready for planting. The overgrown foliage has been removed around the car park, thanks to our friend Micky. He will be back soon to sow the grass seed. Alan and Mr Tunney have made some fantastic new flower boxes for all our pollinator plants. We have all our fruit trees in position and our pollinator plants will be planted next week. All this faboulous work has been funded by Live Here Love Here Schools Pollinator Grant and the National lottery Community Fund which were secured by Mrs O Connor and Mrs Darmody last year. Well done to everyone involved especially our Y6 gardeners and Rebecca in Glen Garth Garden Centre, who has given so much of her time and expertise over the last few months.
