Congratulations to our school Gaelic team who captured the Father Gallagher Cup at Faughenvale GAC.
In searing heat, the boys and girl of Saint John’s performed magnificently to top their group. Good wins in the quarter and semi finals were followed by a nail-biting final against Hollybush. After six games (and wins) in a row, the team were understandably tired but dug deep to defeat Hollybush by a solitary point.
Well done to Sophie who was voted player of the tournament.
