Huge congratulations to our lovely Leah who was the first person to receive a reply to her letter. Everyone in year 6A has written a letter to someone either famous or a family member. Letters have been posted to Joe Biden, Michael D. Higgins, Liverpool players, Manchester United players, Jamie Lee Ò Donnell from Derry girls, James Mc Clean and Taylor Swift to name but a few. Leah wrote to her favourite player, Patrick Mc Eleney who plays as a midfielder for Derry City in the League of Ireland Premier Division. Thank you so much Patrick for making Leah's day and winning her first prize in our class competition.
