"Let your light shine before others." Matthew 5:16
A huge congratulations to Miss Mellon’s Year 6 class for leading a wonderful assembly today.
Through scripture, prayer and beautiful hymn singing, the children shared with us the importance of Catholic Mission and how we are all called to live out our faith through service, kindness and love for others.
The children also taught us about the inspiring lives of St Carlo Acutis and St John, our patron saint, highlighting their faith, witness and relevance to our own faith journey. Their thoughtful reflections reminded us of the importance of following Christ in our daily lives and using our gifts to make a positive difference in the world.
We are incredibly proud of the confidence, reverence and enthusiasm shown by all the children. Thank you to Miss Mellon, Ms Mc Callion, Ms Mc Dermott and Ms McGill and Year 6 for helping our school community deepen its understanding of faith and mission.
