Yesterday, we had two Year 6 teams represent St John's at the Sean O'Kane Primary Schools Perpetual Cup. St John's 'B' got to the semi-final of the shield, narrowly losing out to Holy Child 2-1. Our goal scorer was Paul Keenan. St John's 'A' WON the whole tournament, beating Rosemount PS 1-0 in a very tight and evenly matched final. Our winning goal scorer was Connor Campbell. A huge thank you to St Joseph's Secondary School for the invitation and hospitality at a well-organised tournament. We are honoured to be the first winners of the Sean O'Kane Perpetual Cup. A special mention to our captain Seamus McShane on being awarded the Player of the Tournament.
