Our Year 7 children paired up with our Year 2 children today in our new ‘Paired Reading’ initiative. Everyone took turns reading with their ‘book buddy’, sounding out the words in the text and talking about the pictures, helping to improve reading fluency and extend comprehension and language skills. Well done boys and girls, we are looking forward to seeing you all again next week! 📕📗📘
