3B Friendship

Published: 21st May, 2026

This week 3B have been revising the traffic light signals for supporting development of feelings in PATHS lessons. When we are angry, mad, annoyed or even excited, we are experiencing big emotions. We learned steps that can help us to calm down so that we can then think clearly such as: counting to 10, thinking nice thoughts, walking away or even humming a nice song. This allows us to calm down to think clearly about what to do next, especially if we are solving problems with friends. We also talked about why it is important to have friends, how we can act with them and how to give a genuine compliment. We are currently making a friendship tree for a school display that we can read when we pass it and remember how to be good friends with others!
