Our school hall was filled with our parents this morning as the children processed and honoured Mary, God’s Mother, through traditional May hymns and prayers. The children shared special thank yous with their mammies and made a special bookmark for this occasion. Congratulations to Miss Doherty, Mrs McCartney, Miss McLaughin and Miss Griffin and our amazing Year 3 class on their beautiful assembly this morning.

St John's digital leaders are working hard preparing for the First Lego League competition in Belfast. They are building their lego structures and then coding their Spike hubs to add movement, sound and lights.

This week we have Bronze and Gold certificates! Keep it up!

Measuring weight using balancing scales. Children investigated which objects were lighter or heavier using balancing scales. They worked in teams and took turns to put objects on the balance scale and check which was heavier or lighter.

Great job to all the children who showcased their talents and accomplishments during the assembly today!

Huge congratulations to our Stars of the Week on all their successes this week. We heard about behaviour that has turned around, great work ethic and kindness to others. We are so proud of you!

Today Year 4A marked a very special milestone as they celebrated their First Confession.  Thank you to Fr Mc Faul, Fr Ignacy Saniuta and all our families for their continued support in guiding our children on their faith journey.  Well done, boys and girls.  We are so very proud of you.
