Today, St. John's Primary School were delighted to participate in the GEMX@School programme which was provided from the support of the local engineering and manufacturing companies here in the North West.
Rebecca Mc Glinchy from Hunter Apparel Solutions and Cieara Laidler, Education Officer attended our school and the pupils got immersed in all things STEM. Thank you, Joanne Sweeney, Project Director, GEMX for her unwavering commitment to STEM in primary schools.
One of the main objectives for GEMX is to raise the profile of maunufacturing and engineering within the NW. As such, our children researched local companies in their area to learn about what is manufactured on their doorstep.
