The final stages of the City Indoor 5 Aside competition took place today at the Foyle Arena. The standard was extremely high and our boys battled their way through a particularly tough draw to defeat a valiant Gaelscoil Na Daroige side in the final.
This success is a direct result of the hard work and commitment that these boys have shown throughout the year. They are a credit to their coaches Mr Mullan and Alan Nash.
Most importantly, the boys were beacons for the qualities we promote in our school. Teamwork, honest endeavour and sportsmanship. Even at the final whistle, they were noticeably humble and respectful.
