Today the Y6 classes were set a Stem challenge. They had 9 paper rollers, masking tape, 25 A4 sheets of paper and 35 minutes. They had to design and build a bridge that stretched over 30cm and was able to hold the weight of 3 school dictionaries. Congratulations to Miss Doonan's class whose bridge was the strongest and was able to hold 8 dictionaries, Miss Mellon's and Mrs Darmody's both held 7. The children loved this challenge, we definitely have some future engineers in our school.
