Today in 5B we kicked off Autism Awareness month by engaging with fantastic resources and learning provided by The National Autistic Association. These resources supported the children to understand what autism is and how we can support our autistic family and friends. The children completed an activity that shows us how our brains are all different and supported them in understanding how an autistic brain can be different from a neurotypical brain. 🧩🩷🩵💚💛
