P.E. plays an integral role in the delivery of a balanced curriculum for each individual child. We

recognise that through physical activities children experience a sense of fun, enjoyment and

competency in a range of activities whilst also developing a good relationship between exercise and

long term health and well-being.

Physical activities enhance children’s social skills e.g. taking turns and co-operating as well as

developing the core values of trust, fairness and respect for others. Through our school’s extracurricular

activities programme children extend and advance their skills and interests in a range of

physical activities.

• Physical Literacy                          • Multi-skills coaching

• Gaelic football                              • Netball

• Soccer                                         • Swimming

• Athletics                                       • Dance

• Yoga                                            • Hurley & Camogie

• Cycling Proficiency

Both during and after school we have a wide range of P.E. coaching sessions. Pupils enter tournaments

and competitions both locally and throughout Northern Ireland. Our school soccer team enjoys great

success annually. Our Gaelic Games are also developing well.
